21st Century Masters at FD Gallery
If I could name one purveyor of extraordinarily rare fine jewelry, it would have to be Fiona Druckenmiller. Browsing the merchandise at her store just off of Manhattan’s Tony Madison Avenue is like walking through a jewelry history museum stocked with exceptional, one-of-a-kind pieces from only the best jewelry houses. Each and every piece of jewelry in this exquisite collection is one of importance, which makes this store the ultimate place for any elite jewelry lover. With two cases dedicated solely to Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels and another containing rarities by Bulgari, Boivin, Suzanne Belperron, Flato, Tiffany, Verdura, her store is intensely dedicated to collecting only the best and most coveted jewelry out there. For me, the most exciting case is the one filled with exclusive pieces from 21st century masters such as Hemmerle and Viren Bhagat, not to mention contemporary pieces from Taffin, JAR, and Wallace Chan. Thus, I have chosen a few of my modern favorites to share in my post today.
