Jewelry Obsession: Tiffany’s Seurat Bangle Bracelet

Seurat bangle

Tiffany & Co. has released a gorgeous new app on its Facebook page for its highly-anticipated yearly Blue Book, unveiling one marvelous jewel a day.  Today’s piece is The Seurat Bangle, inspired by post-Impressionist artist George Seurat.

With a wide bangle bracelet as a canvas, Seurat’s renowned pointillism is re-imagined by Tiffany’s artisans with a speckling of spessartites, tsavorites, yellow sapphires, fancy sapphires and diamonds.  The vivid greens, bright reds and sunny yellows of the carefully arranged gemstones elicit the warm afternoon of Seurat’s Study for A Sunday on La Grande Jatte (1884) as well as the excitement of his action-packed painting The Circus (1891).
