Tiffany & Co. Fetes the 2014 Blue Book Collection

Tiffany & Co Blue Book 2014

Last week, Tiffany & Co. celebrated the unveiling of its 2014 Blue Book collection at New York’s Guggenheim Museum, turning the building’s iconic rotunda into a kaleidoscope of color.

Indeed, color is the central theme weaved throughout the jewels in this year’s Blue Book collection, in which exquisite gemstones radiate light in every shade from the color spectrum – vibrant blue and green, sunny yellow, fiery red and orange, bright pink and rich purple. The designs are quintessential Tiffany, equally whimsical and timeless. A necklace and matching bracelet with rows of diamond-set flowers twinkle with fancy color sapphires at their centers while a butterfly brooch flutters with soft moonstones, diamonds and sapphires.

The display of color peaks with an array of rare fancy color diamonds alongside truly exceptional white diamonds, all hand cut and set in jewels of ultimate style and sophistication. Tiffany’s renowned yellow diamonds shine their brightest in a series of jewels including an internally flawless 15.04-carat Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond ring, Art Deco-inspired bangles with yellow and white diamonds, and a drape necklace with over 140 carats of exquisite stones.

However, my favorite piece in the collection is the Schlumberger Arrows clip with 18k gold arrows and a center amethyst weighing over 20 carats, surrounded by faceted amethysts, Montana sapphires and round brilliant diamonds.

Just in time for spring, Tiffany’s 2014 Blue Book collection shines with plenty of color and character!
