The jewelry dreamed up by Suzanne Syz is always light-hearted, playful and full of whimsy, and the latest crop is nothing short of scintillating. If names like “Sex on the beach” and “Hit the bullseye” don’t pique your interest, then the jewels’ exuberant designs surely will catch your eye.
Introduced at Syz’s viewing in New York earlier this month and exhibiting at Masterpiece London this week, brand new styles join fresh iterations of old favorites in the Geneva-based designer’s lineup. A new cold-enamel technique has enabled an assortment of bright new colors for Syz’s coveted, one-of-a-kind Life Saver creations, while another cherished childhood pastime gets the jewel-treatment – a Scrabble bracelet made with titanium tiles.
Known for her work with titanium, Syz has designed a series of airy hoops called “It’s me…à moitié prix” (or “at half price”). The diamond-studded earrings offer the colorful titanium straight up or with a twist, or two.
Cocktail rings are another forté for Syz and pieces like “The lady in red” ring, with a fiery red 35.84-carat spinel, and “Ali baba’s trove” ring, featuring a rugged 54.93-carat Paraïba tourmaline, don’t disappoint.
Suzanne Syz will be exhibiting at Stand Number C22 at Masterpiece London from June 25 to July 1, 2015.
