Situated just off bustling Madison Avenue, FD Gallery’s 65th street boutique is a jewelry lover’s paradise. The handsomely appointed store houses some of rarest, most coveted jewels from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
Taking center stage is a case entirely dedicated to Cartier with jewelry from all periods, from dazzling Art Deco bracelets to Cartier’s iconic Panther creations. Next in line is the Van Cleef & Arpels case where one will find jewels from the Art Deco, Retro and 1970s eras. The third major case boasts an exclusive collection from contemporary designers Hemmerle from Munich and Viren Bhagat of Mumbai. In smaller cases that line the walls, rarities by Bulgari, Boivin, Boucheron, Suzanne Belperron, Flato, Tiffany, and Verdura and contemporary jewelry by Taffin, JAR and Wallace Chan can be found.
Jewelry isn’t the only rare item available at FD Gallery, vintage Chanel and Hermes accessories; photographs by Avedon, Lindbergh and Man Ray; prints ranging from Audubon to Keith Haring; furniture by Claude Lalanne; sculptures by Taubert; and a multitude of unusual objets d’art are also displayed throughout the shop and are available for purchase.
